Moon Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita)
A washed up Moon Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) and Razor Clam on Rhyl Beach.
Yesterday saw strong north-westerly winds after quite an extended period of warm weather, and during our 1.5 mile walk along the strand line we came across several hundred Moon Jellyfish, a lesser number of Compass Jellyfish (Chrysaora hysoscella) and Lion's Mane Jellyfish (Cyanea capillata).
