Shattered Dreams
Unfortunately an unhappy end for the clutch of four Blackbird eggs. A magpie spotted the nest, and made short work of the eggs. It's difficult to stand by and watch the theft taking place, and I must admit I am often amazed how the blackbird ever manages to successfully raise any chicks.
